– Dean Jackson
Since the beginning of time females have gathered to moved their bodies.
The role of women in dance can be traced back to the very origins of civilization. Cave paintings, Egyptian frescos, Indian statuettes, ancient Greek and Roman art and records of court traditions in China and Japan all testify to the important role women played in ritual and religious dancing from the start.
Dancing keeps your body healthy and looking younger well into old age. It offers us a way to release the stresses of daily life. Researchers found that women who frequently danced had a 73% lower chance to fall into depression and anxiety, compared to women who did not dance.
We women are born to move our bodies, in particular our pelvic floor area, the hips. By doing that we are working with our powerhouses which are:
– The root chakra makes us feel safe & strong in our bodies.
– The sacral chakra opens up our femininity and sensuality.
– The solar plexus unleashes confidence & inner power.
When we women dance and become one with our sensuality, it activates the feminine BAD-ASS within us! Nothing is more powerful than the connection to our heart and soul through our body. Dancing is a way of dealing with our negative feelings and releasing them. Expressing yourself through movement may come easier than vocalizing your feelings. That’s why engaging in dance can feel liberating.
This program is for all women! Whether you have dance experience or 2 left feet! You will be able to release what is holding you back through body expression and you’ll feel liberated, stronger and simply amazing about yourself.
Much love,
Anita Milovac
